Health
Access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities is essential for the overall well-being and health of individuals and communities. Through partnerships with organizations such as the Ministry of Health and the Environmental Protection Agency, ACTS works towards improving water and sanitation infrastructure, promoting hygiene practices, and raising awareness about the importance of WASH in the target communities.
Education
Education is another vital aspect of ACTS’ work in Liberia. By partnering with the Ministry of Education, ACTS strives to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for children in underserved areas. This includes supporting the construction and renovation of schools, providing educational materials and resources, and implementing programs that promote literacy and numeracy skills. Through these efforts, ACTS aims to empower the younger generation and equip them with the tools they need to build a brighter future.
Agriculture & Food Security
In addition to WASH and Education, ACTS also focuses on income generation projects. By collaborating with the Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant stakeholders, ACTS aims to support sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment in the target communities. This includes initiatives such as agricultural training programs, microfinance opportunities, and the promotion of entrepreneurship. By enabling individuals to generate their own income, ACTS strives to break the cycle of poverty and create a path towards self-sufficiency.
Community Empowerment
ACTS recognizes the importance of income generation in empowering individuals and communities.
